Arts finds perfect match with Baggage

First Published 17 July 2012, Last Updated 17 July 2012

Baggage, the debut play from John Muirhead and Mike Charlesworth, which opens at the Arts theatre in September, promises a web of intrigue in its story about internet dating.

The world premiere is the first play written by former college friends Muirhead and Charlesworth and draws on the pair’s own life experiences, as well as extensive research they undertook, to tell the story of college friends who reunite and attempt to repair their damaged relationship after struggling with the online dating world.

Directed by Audrey Cooke, Baggage runs at the Arts theatre from 6 September to 6 October, following the summer run of The Reduced Shakespeare Company’s Complete World Of Sports (Abridged), which plays from 17 July to 25 August.
