Commuters all over the UK have had their legs firmly crossed while their heads have been buried in the best-selling novel, This Is Going To Hurt: Secret Diaries Of A Junior Doctor, and now, theatre-goers can hear the hilarious, heartbreaking, and horrifying anecdotes from the man himself in October.

From the celebrated comedy writer, Adam Kay, This Is Going To Hurt tells the few highs and many lows based on anecdotes from his time as a doctor working in the NHS. With true-life stories that will make you laugh, wince, feel a bit faint, and understand the plight of hospital staff, it’s a unique and fascinating insight into a world we all think we know but actually, have no idea about.

The show, which has been an absolute hit with critics and punters alike during its runs at Edinburgh 2016, 2017, and 2018, plus its UK tour, is set to sell out in no time. The book has sold over half-a-million copies and is set to become a BBC tv series adapted by Adam himself.
