Over the last month, thousands of children have excitedly taken their seats in theatres across the capital to enjoy a show as part of the 17th annual Kids Week. But this is only where the magic of the ticket campaign begins; running alongside the kids go free offer is an ambitious schedule of incredible exclusive activities and workshops that enable young theatre fans from toddlers to teenagers to experience a taste of what goes on behind the scenes.

From dance workshops with Thriller Live and The Pajama Game to tea parties with The Tiger Who Came To Tea, acting workshops with The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time to arts and crafts with The Elephantom, we’re so proud of the thrilling and fun-packed opportunities that Kids Week has offered hundreds of children and families this summer.

To celebrate, we decided to take a look back at some of our highlights from this year’s line-up of workshops, activities and parties in the gallery above.

Don’t forget, Kids Week runs until 31 August and the Critics Corner prize draw is open for submissions until 4 September. Find more details on how to enter here.
