Actors are renowned for their travelling lifestyle, but these West End performers will have to get used to journeying to another dimension each night: The Twilight Zone has announced casting for its Ambassadors Theatre transfer.

Oliver Alvin-Wilson (currently starring in Nine Night), Adrianna Bertola (previously in Charlie & The Chocolate Factory) and Neil Haigh (World Cup 1966, Bristol Old Vic) will warp back in to the show from its Almeida Theatre run. They’ll be joined by Alisha Bailey (A Raisin In The Sun, Sheffield), Natasha J Barnes (Funny Girl, West End), Nicholas Karimi (Macbeth, National Theatre), Dan Crossley (Singin’ In The Rain, Chichester), Dyfan Dwyfor (Richard III, RSC), Lauren O’Neill (Reasons To Be Happy, Hampstead) and Matthew Steer (A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Young Vic).

Bringing the beloved CBS television series to the stage, The Twilight Zone is directed by the multi Olivier Award-winning Richard Jones, who blends morality tales, fables and fantasy into an unnerving, absorbing and imaginative production.

The show comprises a series of incisive parables surrounding the pride, prejudice, dreams and despairs of humanity. Based on original stories by Rod Serling, the sci-fi television series had a seminal influence on pop culture, and celebrates its 60th Anniversary Year in 2019.

The Twilight Zone first opened at the Almeida Theatre in 2017, where Official London Theatre described the show as “an earnest and hugely enjoyable celebration of one of TV’s most iconic series.”

Performances begin at the Ambassadors Theatre from 4 March 2019.
