It’s based on the musical icon who told us “Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough” – and West End audiences clearly haven’t, as the brilliant Michael Jackson musical Thriller Live has extended booking until 7 April 2019.

The new extension for Thriller Live – which serves as an eye-popping celebration of Michael Jackon’s music and dance legacy – will see 190,000 new seats go on sale for the show at the West End’s Lyric Theatre.

The period also means that the show will moonwalk its way through a 10th year, in turn celebrating its 4000th West End performance, which will take place on Wednesday 12 September, with a special gala evening. Thriller Live currently holds the record as the sixth longest running musical currently playing in London’s Theatreland.

The production will next month welcome several new cast members in the form of dancers Leona Lawrenson, Mari Macleod, Matt Vjestica and Vivian Gayle.

The Thriller Live World Tour continues with dates across the UK, Germany, Poland, Kuwait and Dubai, playing through to summer 2019. The show has now been seen by over 4.5 milion people in 33 countries, and played over 6000 performances worldwide.

To the pulsating sound of many of pop’s greatest hits, Thriller Live changes each year. With new numbers added, and supported by numerous videos, effects and dazzling choreography from the mind of director Gary Lloyd, there’s little that can “Beat It” for a great night out in London.
