It’s the show that Just Can’t Stop Loving You: Michael Jackson musical Thriller Live will celebrate 4,000 West End shows with a very special performance at the Lyric Theatre on Wednesday 12 September.

Raising funds for The Prince’s Trust, the charity founded by Prince Charles in 1976, Thriller Live’s gala performance will see high-profile guest stars join the West End cast to perform your favourite Michael Jackson tracks. Tickets can be booked via the show’s website.

Thriller Live producers Paul Walden and Derek Nicol, and show creator Adrian Grant, added: “… Thriller Live, which is now in its 10th year in the West End… will be supporting this wonderful charity over the next year with its mandate to help disadvantaged young people get their lives on track, with opportunities to see the show, Q&A sessions, art programmes, workshops and mentoring experiences with our creative team, dancers and singers.”

It’s not the first time guest stars have joined in the moonwalking: in December 2012, the likes of Macy Gray, Stooshe and Joe McElderry played their part in a Children in Need special:

A celebration of Michael Jackson’s music and dance legacy, Thriller Live brings to life on stage his distinctive dancing and the pulsating sound of many of pop’s greatest hits. The show first arrived at the Lyric Theatre in January 2009, where it has played ever since.

Recent international tours have seen the production rack up over 6000 performances worldwide.

You can book Thriller Live tickets for other dates here!

Thriller Live is also participating in Kids Week; throughout August, a child aged 16 or under can go free when accompanied by an adult paying full price. Adults can also purchase up to two extra children’s tickets at half price, and there are no booking fees to pay.
