Tell Us In 10: Faye Castelow

By Georgie PringlePublished 12 June 2026

In our profile series, Tell Us In Ten, we ask cast members and creatives of top London shows to tell us all about themselves in just 10 questions. From how they got their start in the industry to their favourite shows, we want to know everything.

This time, the spotlight is on Faye Castelow who is shining in her role as the dynamic Esther in Arthur Miller’s The Price for the final performances of the show at the Marylbone Theatre, on until 21 June.

1) My route into theatre was…

Very traditional! I always enjoyed drama at school and a combination of a pantomime at Christmas and Jason Donovan in Joseph’s Technicolour Dreamcoat when I was four set me on my path. I went to the Oxford School of Drama straught after school and somehow, here we are nearly 20 years later.

2) My West End idol is…

Can I have three? Lesley Sharp – Monica Dolan – Eileen Atkins.

3) My colleagues would describe me as…

The Social Secretary.

4) My favourite show (that isn’t one I star in/work on) is…

I adored Mass at the Donmar Warehouse – catch it before it closes!

5) The career moment I’m most proud of is…

A year on Broadway in Tom Stoppard’s Leopoldstadt directed by Patrick Marber.

6) The hardest part about my job/role is…

Sacrificing time away from home and family.

7) If I wasn’t an actor, I would be…

An international war correspondent (is it too late?)

8) Something people don’t know about me is…

I can recommend you a restaurant in London for any occasion and any budget.

9) The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is…

‘Just take the work’ (thank you, Adrian Scarborough)

10) The one thing I wish I could tell my younger self is…

RELAX babes!
