Former A Little Night Music and Guys And Dolls star Kelly Price is to return to the West End from 4 February, when she joins the new cast of One Man, Two Guvnors.

The actress, whose London credits also include The Misanthrope, Chicago, Mamma Mia! and The Woman In White, takes to the Theatre Royal Haymarket stage alongside the West End production’s new Francis Henshall, Rufus Hound.

Also joining the hit comedy in time for Valentine’s Day are Sam Alexander (The Comedy Of Errors and A Winter’s Tale, Shakespeare’s Globe), Ian Burfield (The Kitchen and Richard III, National Theatre), Amy Cudden (The Village Bike, Sheffield Theatres), Hugh Sachs (A Woman Killed With Kindness, National Theatre) and recent RADA graduate Harry Kershaw.

Current cast members David Benson, Rhona Croker and Derek Elroy continue in the National Theatre’s latest successful West End transfer, while Martin Barrass returns to the company to reprise his performance as Alfie.

One Man, Two Guvnors is Richard Bean’s hugely popular reworking of Carlo Goldoni’s comedy The Servant Of Two Masters. The show tells the story of Henshall, a former skiffle band member who takes two jobs as minder to two small time crooks. All he has to do is keep them apart so neither finds out.

The production started life at the National Theatre, when James Corden led the cast to rapturous acclaim. After transferring to the West End, where the applause, ovations and laughter were recreated, Corden took the original cast to New York, winning a Tony Award for his efforts, leaving the London show to continue its success with a fresh set of faces.
