Full casting has been announced for the new Lucy Kirkwood drama Mosquitoes, directed by Rufus Norris and starring Olivia Colman.

Based on the the happenings of when two sisters, whose lives are headed in radically different directions, are suddenly thrown together by tragedy, the multi award-winning Colman (perhaps best known for her role in Peep Show) will play opposite stage and screen actress Olivia Williams (The Ghost Writer) as sister duo Jenny and Alice respectively.

Also in the cast are Amanda Boxer, Cait Davis, Vanessa Emme, Yoli Fuller, Paul Hilton, Joseph Quinn and Sofia Stuart.

Alice is a scientist in Geneva, on the brink of the most exciting breakthrough of her life as she searches for the Higgs Boson – much unlike Jenny, who lives in Luton and spends a lot of time Googling. But when their lives collide, they are both threatened with chaos.

Mosquitoes, penned by the Olivier Award-winning playwright Kirkwood, will have its world premiere in the Dorfman Theatre in July, with Artistic Director Rufus Norris directing. The show will preview from 18 July, with press night on 25 July, and the final performance will take place on 28 September.

You can book your tickets through the venue’s website.
