Special performance of Pantoland to celebrate key workers

The National Lottery today announced it will host a special one-off performance of this year’s pantomime at The London Palladium for key workers and staff from frontline lottery-funded projects.

The National Lottery’s Pantoland will see hundreds of seats gifted to key workers and their families in recognition of their vital work this year supporting communities, specifically the most vulnerable, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Attendees to the red carpet event will be drawn from a wide range of professions – including NHS frontline staff, the Metropolitan Police Service, London Ambulance Service, the military, teachers, refuse collectors, delivery drivers, retail workers, staff from frontline lottery-funded community projects and a range of charities.

Donmar Warehouse announces new Chair of the Board

The Donmar Warehouse announces today that Adam Kenwright will succeed The Lord Browne of Madingley as Chair of its Board. Adam Kenwright will take over from Lord Browne from Friday 4 December 2020.

2020 has also seen the Donmar appoint six new Trustees who will work alongside Adam: Sylvie Bressler, Tiina Lee, Gerard Lemos CMG, Antonia Romeo, Tessa Ross CBE and June Sarpong OBE.

Adam Kenwright and the Donmar Warehouse Board will work closely with Michael Longhurst and Henny Finch, the company’s Artistic Director and Executive Director.

Bridge Theatre releases photos of A Christmas Carol

A Christmas Carol didn’t just invent Christmas as we know it. It’s also scary, joyful, spooky, hilarious, furious, beautiful, and a triumphant declaration that even the hardest hearts can melt.

Simon Russell Beale, Patsy Ferran and Eben Figueiredo play all the parts and share the story telling in this exuberant new version devised by Nicholas Hytner.
