James Norton’s London theatre return will continue for an extra week as hit drama Bug, in which he stars alongside Kate Fleetwood, has extended its run at Found111 to 14 May.

The additional performances were added to the acclaimed Bug’s schedule following phenomenal demand for tickets.

Written by Tracy Letts, Bug is set in a seedy Oklahoma motel room where Agnes, a lonely cocktail waitress, is hiding from her violent husband and blocking out the fear with drink and drugs. Until a stranger arrives.

The darkly comic drama, directed by Simon Evans, received a host of four star reviews when it opened at the former home of the Central Saint Martins School of Art in March, with The Independent praising its “magnificent performances” and The Times proclaiming, “The audience are left bug-eyed, appalled and wickedly entertained.”

Bug is the second big hit for intimate new venue Found111. It follows the success of The Dazzle, in which Andrew Scott, David Dawson and Joanna Vanderham starred last Christmas.
