Your young child’s firsts are precious. So your child’s first trip to the theatre should be no different. If you’re yet to venture to see a show with your little one, this Kids Week is the perfect opportunity. We have a selection of shows and activities designed for young children. With a selection of shows for under 5s, and a free child ticket when an adult theatre ticket is purchased, there’s never been a better time to dip your kid’s toe into the theatre pool.

Take a look at what Kids Week has on offer for the very young theatregoers out there.

We’re Going On A Bear Hunt

Based on Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury’s beloved picture book, We’re Going On A Bear Hunt is an exciting and engaging show that will wow your little one. Using music, laughter, rhymes, rhythms and repetitions together with puppetry, paint, water and mud, this mischievous show will take you on an unforgettable adventure.

It’s 55 minutes with no interval – meaning a stressful trip to the loo can probably be avoided, and no fun will be missed!

This Olivier Award-nominated show is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Adapted from Judith Kerr’s much-loved children’s picture book, The Tiger Who Came To Tea is a musical slice of mayhem full of sing-a-long songs, interactive fun and joy.

Just like We’re Going On A Bear Hunt, The Tiger Who Came To Tea is action packed for 55 minutes, with no interval interrupting the show.

But first, Ryder and his team of pirate pups must rescue Cap’n Turbot from a mysterious cavern. When they do, they also discover a secret pirate treasure map!

This pawesome show is 1h30 with an interval.
