Free Run, the headline show of this year’s Udderbelly season on the South Bank, has had to postpone its press night after one of the show’s performers sustained an injury on Friday.

As he is unable to continue in the show, the adrenalin-fuelled production’s official opening night has been postponed until the cast’s newest member is of a ‘reviewable standard’.

Free Run, which blends parkour, marital arts and acrobatics to create a gravity-defying live performance, was due to open at the Udderbelly tonight. Though members of the press have been put off reviewing the production indefinitely, the show will continue to perform as planned while the new free runner is filtered in.

Free Run is a new live show from 3Run, a performance team that holds 15 world records and created the memorable death-defying opening sequence to Bond film Casino Royale.
