New York, New York, it’s a helluva town – and it’s coming to the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre in fantastic feel-good musical form, if these vibrant rehearsal shots are anything to go by.

With an incredible Bernstein score, Olivier Award-winner Drew McOnie – celebrated for his choreography on Jesus Christ Superstar – directs and choreographs On The Town, a dance-packed bonanza with a cast led by Danny Mac, Fred Haig and Samuel Edwards in roles made famous on film by Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra and Jules Munshin.

And with book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, including the hit song ‘New York, New York’, On The Town promises to be the biggest dance musical ever staged at the Open Air Theatre.

On The Town will play from 19 May to 1 July at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, with press night on 25 May.
