X Factor fans are in for a double whammy this weekend; as well as enjoying more episodes of the TV talent show, they can also listen to four songs from the highly anticipated musical I Can’t Sing!
Featuring the production’s stars Cynthia Erivo and Alan Morrissey, the quartet of tunes include Please Simon, If That’s Not Entertainment, I Wanna Be Like Bono and the title track, I Can’t Sing!, providing an audible insight into the comedy musical creation by Harry Hill and Steve Brown.
Sean Foley’s production, which also features Olivier Award winner Nigel Harman as music mogul Simon Cowell, begins previews at the London Palladium on 27 February, promising “an affectionate poke” at the popular ITV series as it takes a peek behind the microphone and under the judges’ desk to reveal the (not necessarily accurate) story of heartache and laughter that keeps millions tuning in every week.
