This summer, Shakespeare’s warm-hearted comedy, As You Like It, will Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre. The timeless tale of adventure, sibling rivalry, mistaken identity and romance will positively gleam with glory in the open-air setting. And, before you make your way to the beautiful summer venue, here’s a sneak peek at the rehearsals.

Max Webster directs The Bard’s hilarious comedy with design by Naomi Dawson, who recently designed Dr Faustus (Royal Shakespeare Company) and Brave New World (Northampton Royal & Derngate). Movement direction is by Polly Bennett, lighting design is by Lee Curran (Jesus Christ Superstar) and sound design by Gareth Fry.

Set in the mythical forest of Arden – a world of transformation where anything is possible and anything permissible – As You Like It tells the tale of two young people who discover what it really means to be in love.
