If there’s one thing that watching numerous seasons of the Great British Bake Off have taught us, it’s that baking… is difficult. And if you’re going to tackle it in front of West End audiences, it’s probably best to get some practice in. And thus, smoothly (?) segwaying in, we’ve got an exciting first look at Waitress‘ new stars Ashley Roberts and Lucie Jones in the rehearsal room as they prepare to take part in the smash-hit new musical.
Ashley will be playing the role of Dawn, and Lucie the lead role of Jenna, from Monday 17 June. And although Lucie has covered the role on-stage recently, for former Pussycat Doll and Strictly Come Dancing finalist Ashley, Waitress marks an exciting West End debut. They’ll be joined by The Inbetweeners’ star Blake Harrison, who’s taking on the role of Ogie from the same date.
