Remember remember 10 December. Not the usual turn of phrase used at this time of year, but one we’ve been employing here at Official London Theatre since it was announced that Guys And Dolls would be returning to the West End later this year.
That’s the date that the iconic musical hit, which stars David Haig, Sophie Thompson, Jamie Parker and Siubhan Harrison, begins its run at the Savoy Theatre, in case you were wondering.
Earlier this month we brought you footage of Haig at the hairdressers preparing for his role as Nathan Detroit but now we have the exclusive on the entire quartet getting into character for a special publicity shoot.
In the words of the Olivier Award winner himself, “It’s one of the greatest musicals ever written”, which is why even the mere mention of the Chichester Festival Theatre hit, let alone an exclusive look at their preparations, is getting us as excited as Haig’s Detroit at the prospect of marrying his fiancée of 14 years Miss Adelaide (Thompson).
