They’ve gone through the interviews (well, auditions) and they’ve landed the parts. And now the cast of Jordi Galceran’s The Grönholm Method at The Menier Chocolate Factory has been announced today and we’re sure they’re going to do a stellar job.

The cast of the UK premiere of Jordi’s 2003 play, will feature Jonathan Cake (Baby Doll, Medea), Greg McHugh (TV credits include: Fresh Meat, Marvellous, Dates), Olivier Award-nominated Laura Pitt-Pulford (Seven Brides for Seven, Nell Gwynn), and John Gordon Sinclair (Jeeves & Wooster, The Ladykillers).

The incredible company will tell the story of four people vying for a position at a New York Fortune 500 company. But, as the candidates embark on their final interviews, they realise there’s more to it than your usual questions. The four applicants will have to face a gruelling test which will reveal some unexpected results. And in an age of reality TV and tweeting presidents, how far will people go to manipulate, lie and ‘play the game’ to get ahead in life?

The Grönholm Method is a taut play which exposes the psychological depths people will go to in order to get what they want. It premiered in Barcelona in 2003 and has since been made into a film.

BT McNicholl (Broadway’s Spamalot and Billy Elliott) will direct.

The Grönholm Method runs from 10 May – 7 July 2018, with previews running from 10 May – 21 May 2018.
