Nina Raine’s new play Tiger Country is a fast-paced examination of life at a busy London hospital which explores the range of clinical and ethical issues that underlie working life on medical and surgical wards.

Fighting exhaustion and a hierarchical system, Tiger Country follows the medical staff facing personal and moral decisions which affect their lives and those of their patients.

Playwright Raine, who also directs Tiger Country, won a clutch of awards for her debut play Rabbit. Tiger Country has been commissioned by Hampstead theatre.
