The Village Bike is a provocative and darkly comic look at fantasy and romance.

Becky is pregnant and frustrated. But her husband is more interested in the baby manual than her new underwear so she turns to the porn stash under ther bed. As the summer heats up, a brief encounter sends her speeding downhill towards reckless abandon.

The Village Bike, which is suitable for theatregoers over the age of 18 due to its scenes of a sexual nature, is written by Penelope Skinner, whose previous work includes Greenland at the National Theatre and Eigengrau at the Bush theatre.

Joe Hill-Gibbins, who has worked at the Royal Court and Young Vic, directs.
