John Tiffany directs a mischievous family adaptation of Roald Dahl’s The Twits at the Royal Court.

Adapted by Irish playwright Enda Walsh, The Twits tells the story of the not-so-nice duo of its title. They’re nasty to each other and vile to everyone else. They even hold monkeys hostage in a cage and force them to stand on their heads.

This new adaptation turns Dahl’s tale upside down, bringing a revolting revolution to the Royal Court’s stage where audiences can find out whether the monkeys can find a way to show the vicious Twits what for.

The production is suitable for children aged seven and older.
