Renowned film maker and director Mike Leigh takes on sentimental pirates, blundering policeman, absurd adventures and improbable paradoxes to bring Gilbert and Sullivan’s dazzling opera The Pirates Of Penzance to the London Coliseum.

The highly anticipated production by the director behind recent screen success Mr Turner is brought to life with razor-sharp wit and a sparkling score full of melodies.

With stylish designs from Alison Chitty, the production is conducted by David Parry and features a cast including Andrew Shore, Jonathan Lemalu, Robert Murray and Rebecca De Pont Davies.
