Summer Collection is a biennial season of contemporary dance in the Clore Studio Upstairs.

In 2009, the spotlight is on work developed through the Royal Opera House choreographic development programmes, including ROH2’s Dancelines laboratory – small-scale Royal Ballet work, developed under the guidance of Resident Choreographer Wayne McGregor – and new work created for Ballet Black’s recent season.

The programmes also feature recent work from Royal Opera House choreographic Associates Freddie Opoku-Addaie, Laila Diallo and Sarah Dowling. Their pieces form the centrepiece of two varied programmes of duets that demonstrate the rich and diverse range of choreography being developed at the Royal Opera House.
