Inspired by The Twelve Days Of Christmas, Stephen And The Sexy Partridge is a ridiculously silly, unexpectedly topical and infectiously energetic tale of Christmas cheer, of bagpipe-playing potatoes, revolutionary hens and dancing swans, and of a love between one man and his bird.

Stephen And The Sexy Partridge, which played a sold out season at the Old Red Lion theatre in 2008, is the tale of a Christmas shopping spree which asks What does it take to wake someone up to the true spirit of Christmas?

Cal McCrystal, who directs Stephen And The Sexy Partridge, has previously worked with cult comedy characters The Mighty Boosh and Sacha Baron Cohen, leftfield theatre group Peepolykus and world renowned entertainers Cirque De Soleil.

Stephen And The Sexy Partridge’s writers, Lily Bevan and Finnian O’Neill also play the title characters. Bevan previously appeared in A Voyage Round My Father at the Donmar Warehouse and Wyndham’s theatre, while O’Neill’s London credits include The Trial at the National Theatre.
