Random Dance’s Entity thrilled Sadler’s Wells audiences at its world premiere in 2008. It now returns after sell-out shows at the Venice and Lyon Biennales and wide critical acclaim.

Performed against a pounding soundscape by Coldplay and Massive Attack collaborator, Jon Hopkins and award-winning composer Joby Talbot (The Divine Comedy), Entity is a staggering blend of bodies, lights, technology and film, which confirms Wayne McGregor’s place at the cutting edge of contemporary culture.

A prolific dance maker, in the past year McGregor has created new work for The Royal Ballet (where he is Resident Choreographer), Nederlands Dans Theater and the Australian Ballet. He has directed opera at La Scala, Milan and The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and produced headlining sets for The Big Chill and Glastonbury festivals.
