Much Ado About Nothing is one of Shakespeare’s most popular romantic comedies.
War-weary heroes return to their Mediterranean home, but now sparks fly as a different battle commences between a pair of cynics – feisty Beatrice and embittered Benedick. Will love triumph?
Featuring Shakespeare’s most reluctant lovers, Much Ado About Nothing is a joyous, wise-cracking comedy of love, honour and second chances.
This production of Much Ado About Nothing, which kicks off the 2009 season at the Open Air theatre in Regent’s Park, is directed by the venue’s Artistic Director Timothy Sheader, whose credits include Romeo And Juliet and Gigi in last year’s season, and new musical Imagine This.
