Fresh from its smash-hit Edinburgh status, this part live gig, part play, comes to London for the first time at Stratford East, Theatre Royal; Janis Joplin: Full Tilt is a musical experience to remember.

Backed by the hottest band that a record company’s money can buy, and facing an audience of thousands of revering fans, Janis Joplin is utterly alone – and, as it happens, the greatest rock singer of her generation.

Created by multi-award winning writing/directing team Peter Arnott and Cora Bissett (last at Stratford East in 2013 with the Olivier award-winning Roadkill and in 2012 with the acclaimed Glasgow Girls), Janis Joplin: Full Tilt is a celebration of a sound, a scream of protest at the universe.
