The London International Festival Of Theatre 2012 presents the London premiere of Gatz, the theatrical tour de force that took New York by storm.

One morning in the low-rent office of a mysterious small business, an employee finds a copy of The Great Gatsby in the clutter of his desk. He starts to read it out loud and doesn’t stop.

At first his coworkers hardly notice. But after a series of strange coincidences, its no longer clear whether he’s reading a book or the book is doing something to him.

Gatz is a remarkable re-enactment of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s masterpiece The Great Gatsby. 13 actors bring to life every word of the 20th century classic with no text added and none removed in a theatrical epic that lasts 8 hours including an extended interval.
