A children’s author, child therapist and founder of the Jewish Orphanage in Warsaw’s Ghetto, Dr Janusz Korczak created a radical environment for the young people in his care which was a democratic utopia where children had rights and were treated as equals.

Based on true events, Dr Korczak’s Example recounts the last days of Dr Korczak. As the systematic emptying of the Ghetto gathers pace during the summer of 1942, one man finds his pacifist principles pushed to the limit, not only by the Nazi regime, but by the arrival of Adizo, a young boy who believes in fighting back.
