Rob Brydon, Nigel Harman and Ashley Jensen star in Trevor Nunn’s production of A Chorus Of Disapproval.

Written by Alan Ayckbourn, A Chorus Of Disapproval tells the story of shy young widower Guy, who joins a production of The Beggar’s Opera that is rapidly going off the rails.

An instant hit with the company’s ferociously zealous director Dafydd and the show’s leading ladies, Guy soon gets more than he bargained for as he discovers that all the best action happens off stage.

Former EastEnder Harman, who won an Olivier Award for his performance as Lord Faquaad in Shrek The Musical, takes on the lead role of Guy whose liaisons with the opposite sex cause a stir in the wings of the ambitious local show.

Best known for his on screen appearances in comedy shows including I’m Alan Partridge, Gavin And Stacey and Would I Lie To You?, Brydon makes his West End acting debut in the production, playing the role of Dafydd alongside Ugly Betty and Extras star Jensen as his wife.

Legendary Cats and Les Misérables director, Nunn’s recent credits include the Olivier Award-winning Flare Path and Kiss Me, Kate at the Chichester Festival Theatre.
