A British Subject tells the true-life story of Mirza Tahir Hussain, a british subject, who days after his arrival in Pakistan was arrested for the murder of a taxi driver. He was later tried and condemned to hang. The 18 year old spent 18 years on death row and in that time the only journalist to visit him was Don Mackay of the Daily Mirror.
