The songs of Sting power Message In A Bottle, an extraordinary new dance production in the West End choreographed by triple Olivier Award nominee Kate Prince.
Fans of Sting and Prince alike will be keen to snap up Message In A Bottle tickets, as songs underscore three siblings’ extraordinary adventures in this exciting new show. Featured Sting songs include Every Breath You Take, Roxanne, Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic, Walking On The Moon, Englishman In New York, Shape Of My Heart and Fields Of Gold.
Blending Prince’s signature lyrical hip hop with some of the breath-taking music of the 17-time Grammy Award-winning Sting, Message In A Bottle will tell an uplifting story of humanity and hope. The show marks a unique collaboration between Sadler’s Wells and Universal Music, and receives its world premiere at the West End’s Peacock Theatre.
Message In A Bottle begins in a village flush with joyous celebrations. But suddenly, when the settlement comes under siege, three parted siblings are forced to step out on their own remarkable adventures, testing their determination and daring to the maximum.
The show has received a ringing endorsement from Sting himself, who said, I witnessed one of the first workshops and was very excited by the potential. Message In A Bottle will feature dancers from the critically acclaimed ZooNation: The Kate Prince Company, which was founded by the choreographer in 2002. Full casting will be announced at a later date.
Kate Prince became an Associate Artist at Sadler’s Wells in 2010, where ZooNation is also a Resident Company. Their productions include the likes of Sylvia (The Old Vic), Into The Hoods (West End) and ZooNation: Unplugged at Sadler’s Wells. Prince was most recently nominated for Best Theatre Choreographer for her work on popular musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.
