It’s murder putting on a new musical – literally! Musical comedy caper Curtains is coming to the West End this Christmas.

The play is currently splitting the sides of audiences across the UK on a national tour, but will settle in to Wyndham’s Theatre from 13 December to 11 January 2020.

Jessica Cranshaw, star of the new Broadway-bound musical Robbin Hood, has been murdered on stage on opening night!

The entire cast and crew are suspects. Time to call in the local detective, Frank Cioffi, who just happens to be a huge musical theatre fan. With a nose for crime and an ear for music, Frank has his work cut out trying to find the killer whilst giving the show a lifeline.

This hilarious musical whodunnit stars comedian and actor Jason Manford (The Producers, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Guys and Dolls) and actor turned West End darling Carley Stenson (Les Misérables, Legally Blonde, Shrek, Spamalot and Hollyoaks).

Packed full of catchy songs, unforgettable characters and plot twists galore, this is the perfect Christmas treat for the whole family. First running on Broadway in 2007 – where it was nominated for 8 Tony Awards – this marks Curtains’ West End premiere.

Music and lyrics for this this Tony award-winning musical are by John Kander and Fred Ebb, the iconic duo behind Cabaret and Chicago.

This raucous backstage murder mystery musical will have audiences laughing and guessing right to the final curtain. Curtains tickets are sure to fly off the shelves, so grab yours here!
