Shakespeare’s famous ending is just the beginning of a riotous, new, pop-hit-fuelled musical, & Juliet. Featuring the songs of Max Martin and a book by David West Read (the writer of Netflix’s Schitt’s Creek), & Juliet tickets are going like hotcakes.

The story is told through some of pop’s most famous songs, including hits from Ariana Grande, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Justin Timberlake and Katy Perry.

With an all-star West End cast led by former Hamilton star Miriam-Teak Lee – accompanied by theatre favourites Cassidy Janson (Beautiful), Oliver Tompsett (Kinky Boots), Arun Blair-Mangat (Angels In America), Melanie La Barrie (Wicked), Jordan Luke Gage (Bat Out Of Hell) and Tim Mahendran (Spring Awakening) – you’ll soon be joining & Juliet in forgetting all about Romeo.

& Juliet picks up where Romeo And Juliet leaves off. Romeo lies poisoned, Juliet awakens from her slumber, picks up the dagger and… decides to live. Off she sets to Paris with Nurse and her friends, a hilarious, comical journey of romance and self-discovery, accompanied by some of the biggest pop anthems of the past three decades.

This timely yet timeless tale of a young independent woman will have you boogying along in your seat to all your favourite chart tunes including [Hit Me] Baby One More Time, Everybody [Backstreet’s Back], Love Me Like You Do and I Can’t Feel My Face. & Juliet promises to be a vibrant new musical like no other.

Following a short run at Manchester Opera House in September-October 2019, & Juliet has now transferred to the West End to play in London at the Shaftesbury Theatre.

As well as appearing in the original London cast of Hamilton, & Juliet’s Miriam-Teak Lee has previously appeared in the role of Claire DeLoone in On The Town at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre. She won the Best Actress in a Musical at the Stage Debut Awards for her performance.

The new jukebox musical & Juliet will be brought to life by an award-winning creative team. Alongside director Luke Sheppard, who directed the Olivier Award-nominated In The Heights, the team includes the likes of choreographer Jennifer Weber, set designer Soutra Gilmour and costume designer Paloma Young.
