Shadows. They often get a bad rep.

They’re the dark spaces, inside which lurk the denizens of hell or the most hideous nightmares of your imagination.

They’re the black silhouettes that lengthen to become stretching, reaching monsters in the afternoon sun.

They’re the backing band for Cliff Richard. (Okay, that one’s not as terrifying.)

But in the hands – or entire bodies, as the case may be – of Britain’s Got Talent winners Attraction, they are a thing of wonder.

The talented acrobatic and artistic performers contorting their bodies would make you feel ashamed to do your one-handed rabbit shadow puppet if you weren’t so wowed at their incredible ability.

Don’t believe me? Check out the trailer for their new show The Box, which plays a one-off show at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane on 29 November, and find out why Simon Cowell described them as “one of the most amazing things we have seen on Britain’s Got Talent”.
