How to strut your stuff in Kinky Boots

Published 16 November 2016

It’s the big question that anybody who’s seen the Olivier Award-winning musical spectacular Kinky Boots will have asked on their way out: just how do the cast walk (let alone dance) in those heels?!

We’re about to find out, as the hilarious cast of the huge-hearted, high-spirited musical took time out of their daily fabulousness to teach us aspiring Kinky Boot walkers how to strut our stuff. With tips on posture, pace, poise and perfect attitude, it’s the gait guide we’ve all been looking for.

Kinky Boots tells the true story of Charlie Price, who suddenly – and unwillingly – inherits his late father’s Northampton shoe factory.

While trying to live up to his father’s legacy and save the family business from bankruptcy, Charlie meets Lola, an entertainer whose dream of sturdy stilettos might just turn the factory around, in turn proving that sometimes the best way to fit in is to stand out.

The smash-hit musical scooped three glittering Olivier Awards earlier this year, including the coveted MasterCard Best New Musical Award.

Kinky Boots is currently booking at the Adelphi Theatre until 6 May 2017. You can book your tickets through us here.
