George Maguire to lead 35mm: A Musical Exhibition

First Published 5 September 2017, Last Updated 5 September 2017

Full casting has been announced for The Other Palace’s thrilling new alternative rock musical 35: A Musical Exhibiton, with Olivier Award winner George Maguire (Sunny Afternoon) leading the cast.

Joining Maguire in the experimental musical, which weaves together remarkable stories through song, are Christina Modestou (original London cast of In The Heights, Rent), stage Newcomer nominee Samuel Thomas (Death Takes a Holiday, Allegro), Maisey Bawden (The Tempest, Globe) and Gregor Duncan (Wind In The Willows, UK Tour).

A picture is worth 1,000 words — what about a song? In 35mm, each photo creates a unique song from a moment frozen in time. Featuring the hit-songs The Ballad Of Sara Berry and Leave Luanne, Director Adam Lenson (Whisper House, Songs For A New World) reimagines this piece in a stunning new production this September.

The show will play in The Other Palace Studio from 18 September – 30 September 2017, and is penned by the award-winning composer Ryan Scott Oliver.

You can book your tickets through The Other Palace website.
