Bear hunted at Cadogan Hall

First Published 19 October 2010, Last Updated 19 October 2010

We’re Going On A Bear Hunt, the stage adaptation of Michael Rosen’s picture book of the same name, is returning to London this autumn for a pre-Christmas season at Cadogan Hall.

We’re Going On A Bear Hunt, which runs from 30 November to 18 December, follows one family’s excitement as they set out to find a bear, wading through swishy swashy grass, the splashy splashy river and the squelchy mud. Songs, interactivity and a few surprises aim to capture the attention of youngsters aged three and over.

Director Sally Cookson’s production previously enjoyed a stay in London at the Duchess theatre in summer 2009.

Author Rosen has written over 140 books, many of them for children, and held the post of Children’s Laureate from 2007 to 2009.

We’re Going On A Bear Hunt joins a stellar line-up of children’s shows in London this festive season, including The Gruffalo at the Garrick theatre, Peppa Pig’s Party at the Criterion theatre and Potted Panto at the Vaudeville theatre.
