What is Official London Theatre’s New Year Sale?
Our New Year Sale offers tickets for top London shows for performances in January and February. Since its launch in 2002, it has firmly established its place on the London theatre calendar and gets bigger and better every year!
When does the promotion go on sale?
General booking opens at 10am on Tuesday 7 December. Mastercard cardholders can book early from 10am on Tuesday 23 November before the general sale. All Mastercard cardholders must be registered on Priceless.com to access the priority booking period.
Which shows are participating in the New Year Sale?
You can find a full list of participating shows here.
How much do tickets cost?
Tickets cost £10, £20, £30, £40 or £50, depending on the show. Not every show offers tickets at every price point, or for every performance, and there are no booking fees to pay.
What performances are tickets valid for?
You can buy tickets for selected performances from 1 January to 28 February 2022, subject to availability. If you cannot find your preferred performance via the New Year Sale, full price tickets are available via our Theatre Tickets page.
How do I book?
All tickets must be booked online via OfficialLondonTheatre.com/new-year-sale/, unless booking during the Mastercard Presale period, when tickets must be booked through Priceless.com. New Year Sale tickets cannot be booked at theatre box offices.
How do I make an Access booking?
If you, or someone you know, has access needs, you can contact us ahead of time outlining your access requirements. The form will be available here from 12pm on Friday 3 December until 4pm on Sunday 5 December. You will then be contacted by the theatre directly on Tuesday 7 November to discuss your access needs and to book your tickets..
Please note that not all shows are able to offer all promotion prices and both ticket prices and performances are subject to availability. For access bookings, you will be offered the New Year Sale price or the access price – whichever is cheaper.
Throughout the New Year Sale, if you have access needs the most direct way of booking tickets is directly with the theatre as they know the venue best and can give you the best experience. The list of phone numbers and email addresses can all be found here.
Can I pay with Theatre Tokens?
Yes. From general on sale on Tuesday 7 December, you can pay with Theatre Tokens.
How will I get my ticket?
Your New Year Sale ticket will come as an e-ticket and will be emailed to you before the show.
I have a problem with my booking. Who do I contact?
If you have an issue with an existing booking, our customer service page allows you to check booking details, resend your confirmation email plus information on how your tickets will be delivered. If you have a more general enquiry about your booking then please complete our enquiry form and we will get back to you.
What if I can no longer attend due to Covid?
Subject to availability, exchanges will be possible if you can no longer attend. Please complete our booking exchange form as soon as possible before the performance you have booked for.
What happens if a performance is cancelled?
If a performance is cancelled, you will be entitled to a full refund, or exchange subject to availability. You will be contacted directly.
- Customers can book for multiple shows but we reserve the right to investigate any suspicious bookings
- The offer does not apply to tickets already booked and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer
- Tickets are subject to availability for specific performances only and not all shows offer tickets at all price points
- The list of participating shows will change throughout the promotion as some shows sell out and new shows join
- Some shows do sell out quickly, so we recommend having a few shows in mind before you book, and to be flexible with your dates where possible
