National Theatre Tours for Kids Week

  • Visit unseen and backstage areas
  • Handle props from previous productions
  • Try out some costumes

Bach to Baby presents: Bach to Broadway

Gershwin, Rodgers & Hammerstein – nothing says Broadway quite like them! Showcasing the gems of the classical concert stage and reminiscing the timeless melodies of Broadway, we’ll have you humming all the way home. Now that’s entertainment!

Baby Broadway at The Other Palace

Tired of ‘Twinkle Twinkle’? Bored of belting out ‘Baa Baa Black Sheep’? Baby Broadway has the salvation you seek!

Sing and dance along with your little ones to songs from Mary Poppins, The Sound Of Music, Priscilla Queen Of The Desert, Frozen and many more at Baby Broadway! As well as tip-top showtunes with West End singers you can expect bubbles, puppetry, marching and dance moves in a fun interactive family concert.

Open to all ages from newborns to school age to grandparents, the Baby Broadway concert lasts approximately 45 minutes. Please note this is not a theatrical stage show, but an interactive family concert with professional performers. Audience members are free to sing, dance and clap along and move around with young children as required throughout the performance. Buggy parking will be available, but please note the concert takes place in the main auditorium down one flight of stairs and there is no lift.

Hugely enjoyable for all ages, Broadway Baby is perfect for parents seeking an indulgent break!

The Globe Exhibition & Tour

11-31 August

Shakespeare's Globe London

The Globe Exhibition & Tour is the ideal place in which to introduce your family to Shakespeare and the theatre for which he wrote.

Expert guides will take you on a fascinating tour of the iconic Globe Theatre, bringing the space to life with colourful stories of the 1599 Globe as well as how it works today as an imaginative theatrical space.

In the exciting and interactive Exhibition, live demonstrations take place throughout the day exploring the printing press and Elizabethan clothing.

For Kids Week, families can enjoy one free child place per adult buying a full price ticket at £17.00. Any additional child places will be charged at £5.00.

Stagecoach Summer Showcase: Footloose

Footloose at artsdepot Finchley

This year Stagecoach Performing Arts are proud to present Footloose as their Summer showcase at the artsdepot, North Finchley. Featuring 80 talented students from Stagecoach Schools throughout the UK and overseas who auditioned to take part in a two week residential course working with a professional creative team, it promises to be a memorable show celebrating the talent within Stagecoach.

Let Stagecoach take you on a journey back to the 1980s to an uptight town called Bomont, where rock ‘n’ roll and dancing is banned. We follow city boy Ren McCormack who finds himself here, and begins stirring up the rebellious youths of the town for their right to hold their high-school prom…

So ‘kick off your Sunday shoes’ and ‘tear up the town’ at the Stagecoach Summer Showcase!

Performances are on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 August 2018 at the artsdepot, North Finchley, London at either 3pm (matinee) or 7pm (evening).
