From the team behind The 39 Steps comes a new fast-paced adaptation of General Lew Wallace’s timeless classic Ben Hur.

Billed as “One of the most authentic versions of ancient Rome ever seen”, the production promises a 103% bona fide chariot race featuring real chariots, a sea battle with real water and a decadent and unexpurgated Roman orgy that is suitable for all ages.

Directed by Tim Carroll, Ben Hur reunites playwright Patrick Barlow with producers Fiery Angel, whose production of The 39 Steps had delighted West End audiences for nine years before it closed at the Criterion Theatre in September 2015.
